Where is This Mysterious Boat?!

Unbeknownst to Kate, Tim and Nathan have made plans for Tim to introduce Kate as his girlfriend...and then proceed to hit on all of the girls in Nathan's program. This should get interesting!

We just picked up Kate from her condo where the guard inside the front doors was closely watching us because as Nathan was adjusting himself, Tim and I were spitting out the water/toothpaste combo we'd been swishing in our mouths. The three of us are probably not the usual caliber of ppl to pull up under their awning. It's ok, though, bc Kate reassured the guard that we were her ride.

We just talked to Nathan's new roommate, we'll call him "D", who is actually an old friend of Nathan's. He's got a beverage buffet ready for us. However, the only food he has available is a single pineapple. Sidenote, we haven't stopped for a meal yet.

Tim's Getting a LITTLE Sleepy

7:06am: Fort Valley, GA (Georgia's Peach City)

Well...someone has had a full night of sleep...and it's me. While it was frequently interrupted to move into a more comfortable position, my slumber has been pretty steady the whole trip. Now I am wide awake, ready to drive, and even more-so ready to eat! Tim, on the other hand, is getting a little sleepy. He's been a pretty good co-pilot so far for Nathan. But now he just has to "let it happen."

My apologies...I should have given an overview of the trip that is beginning. For those people who I don't regularly keep up with, Nathan is moving to Miami, Fl. Tim and I are helping him move. By helping him move, I mean we are using this as an excuse to go to Miami and stay for free.

It took Nathan up to the last minute to decide where he was heading to school. And with a love for the Midwest in his heart, he chose Florida! Of course I always knew he would because he is the male version of me. This has been an ongoing joke for two years, but it's true. And if I had the opportunity to leave for awhile and then come back, I'd take it in a heartbeat.

We have an exciting trip planned. I've got the dry erase board ready, you know, for in case we get stuck in traffic and want to communicate with other drivers. We'll be making a stop in Ft. Laudy to pick up Ms. Kate, and we will potentially do some deepsea fishing. A couple of my friends are comin down to visit from the St. Petersburg area and Tim and I intentionally booked our seats on the flight home across the aisle from each other rather than beside each other. Obviously, this is so we can pretend like we've never met ;).

And we just started the Jason Aldean cd over again...

Miami Bound!

8:45 pm: Departure.

After Kara so kindly drove myself and Tim to the southside to meet up with Nathan, we finally hit the road. I hid behind my car while Kara broke the news to Nathan that my suitcase was much larger than the space he had allotted for me. True to his OCD form, Nathan did some rearranging and fit everything in.

Now I'm stretched out in the backseat of the truck and the three of us are gettin' our country on with Jason Aldean. A bet has already been made which is not blog appropriate. And I need to get some sleep bc Tim isn't allowed to drive in the state of Georgia...
